Ingredients
-
1 large egg (room temperature)
-
3 tablespoons hot water
-
1 ramekin (air fryer safe)
-
Oil spray or butter for greasing
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Lightly grease the ramekin with oil or butter.
-
Pour 3 tablespoons of hot water into the ramekin.
-
Crack one egg into the ramekin carefully to avoid breaking the yolk.
-
Place ramekin into the preheated air fryer set at 375°F.
-
Cook for 5–6 minutes for a soft yolk or 7–8 minutes for firmer yolks.
-
Remove ramekin carefully with tongs, season, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use room temperature eggs for even cooking.
Do not skip the hot water—it’s key to poaching.
Ramekin size matters—standard 6 oz ramekins work best.
